It will come against a Buccaneers run defense that is a top-10 matchup for opposing runners in Week 13. He’ll face a Vikings defense that ranks as a top-two run stopper going into Week 13 — Conner only gained 25 combined yards against Detroit’s top-three run defense in Week 2. Trey Benson is also gaining steam in the Arizona offense. It’s best to fade Conner this week, if you have that luxury. Start: DJ Moore, Bears at Lions Moore is finally starting to make waves again in fantasy, after slumping from Weeks 6 to 10. He’s had his best two-game stint of the season thus far in Weeks 11 and 12 though, going for a season-high 119 combined yards and a score in the latter game. New offensive coordinator Thomas Jones has sparked the offense and Moore has been a prime beneficiary. The Bears will have fits trying to run at the Lions’ stout run defense, so they could attack them through the air. Moore is a prime contender to keep up his recent run in Week 13. The Promise Keepers Welfare Officer, identified as Mr Asuquo, has also been invited to face a disciplinary panel for his involvement in the incident, which took place after Akwa United’s matchday 16 fixture against Bendel Insurance in Uyo. NPFL Chief Operating Officer Davidson Owumi disclosed this on Thursday in a letter titled “Warning on unprofessional conduct of club officials.” The letter reads: “It has come to our attention that in the course of your Match Day 16 fixture, Akwa United versus Bendel Insurance, played on Monday, 10 December 2024, your Welfare Officer, Mr Asuquo, harassed and intimidated the technical staff of Propel Sports Africa, the OTT broadcast partners of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL. “Acts of this nature expose the league to significant legal risks, reputation damage, and financial costs. SEYMOUR – Ernest (Ernie) A. Greywacz, 97, a lifelong resident of Seymour, entered into peaceful rest on Nov. 20, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was a devoted husband of 75 years to Helen (Osowiecki) Greywacz. Ernie was born in Seymour, in the home where he resided, son of the late Ernest A. and Melvina (Pelletier) Greywacz. He was a communicant of St. Nicholas Parish/Church of the Good Shepherd and St. Augustine Church in Seymour. Ernie honorably served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He owned his own building contracting business, Greywacz & Smith Builders, before retiring after 40 years. He was involved in the startup of the Seymour Pop Warner Football Program and volunteered as treasurer for many years. He had a love for sports and enjoyed going to see his children and grandchildren participate in all of their events, especially watching his late son, Ernest, play football from Pop Warner through his college years at SCSU. Ernie was an avid skier to the age of 82, and spent many years in Vermont with his wife and family in the home they built together, creating many lasting memories that we will always hold close to our hearts. When he wasn’t busy with a family event, he enjoyed going to the New England Patriots games, watching UConn men’s and women’s basketball, and was a legendary fan of the Boston Celtics. His love for his family was unconditional and most important to him. Each of his own children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are fortunate to have their own collection of stories and memories of how he influenced our lives. He always made you feel welcomed and would lend a hand to help anyone. He will be most remembered for his devotion to his family, and his heart of gold will remain with us forever. In addition to his beloved wife, Ernie is survived by his five daughters, Lynn (Ron) Brown, Ellen Moran, Martha (Eddy) Mehaylo, Lorraine (Tim) McInerney, Josephine (Shannon) Fenton; daughter-in-law Janet Greywacz; his sister Joan Carrington, his brother David Greywacz; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Ernest A. Greywacz III; son-in-law Daniel J. Moran; and stepgranddaughter Stacey Impelliziere. There are no calling hours.
